Depending on the age of your child, both individual and/or family therapy may be helpful in addressing child or adolescent Anxiety or OCD. Many of the strategies involved in challenging anxiety must be implemented or practiced at home to be effective. Therefore, parents are strongly encouraged to participate and support their children during the therapy process. Sessions are active and much can be addressed in a 60-minute session.
Family Therapy can also be helpful in supporting parents who are struggling with parenting a child with Anxiety. Do you need support or want to check-in regarding your feelings or fears as a parent? Are you having a hard time adjusting to your child’s needs?
